Project Haiti has been shut down.

A conspiracy of powerful commercial banks and an incompetent government has determined that it is illegal in the Netherlands to raise money for the education of the world's poorest. These unaccountable Higher Powers accuse us and our donors of money laundering and terrorism. They even forbid us, under threat of sanctions, from continuing Project Haiti. It's scandalous, but the majority decides, and apparently, the majority of Dutch people never have enough.
Because of this incident, we have decided, with a heavy heart, to discontinue Project Haiti. We have since transferred the remaining donations to Doctors Without Borders.
